best wiring way

maybe bit more clearer on fuses anyways, apply same to other amps i think they just 4ga input would prob run 8ga to speakers then

Ya, that amp doesn't come with fuses like smaller ones do. So you should have a fuse to protect the amp, and another fuse to protect the wire/battery.

fyi you'll need a 3a fuse on the remote turn ons...unless you like scary car coffin fires //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

kk. so a 200 and a 300. also, should i do a ground, or attach it strait to the negative on the batt?
You can do either way. But I would ground to the batt. Having a common ground is good way to avoid ground loop noise.

4 awg is rated to 125A //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Where does this come from? 4 AWG should be 85A (depending upon insulation type). A single conductor in free air (not under carpet or underhood) is 125A. You're using the wrong ampacity table. 4 AWG in a car is good for 85 Amps max.

Your ampacity table is a conservative number and is designed to safely cover the infinite variety of AWG used in the field.

Technically the max load of a wire is determined by the voltage drop, insulation temperature limit, thickness, thermal conductivity, and air convection/temperature.

The only way to properly determine the capacity of a power wire is to get your data from the manufacturer. According to Knu (one of the more popular brands of power cable), their Kolossus 4ga is rated to 150a at 12-15ft. They don't specify if that number is on free air or bundled specs.

I will admit that I do rely on other peoples' info and charts. I am not the all knowing genius that Mac claims to be. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
