Best way to wire subs to 4-Channel Amp.

You should be turning that sub level flat as well:\ if it's anything like mine, it's an attenuation level. It puts a louder signal to the subs while the volume is lower, which feeds it more distortion. Everything on your head-unit should be flat before you set your amp. After I have everything set, I have my sub level at +1 because I don't usually crank my volume, sometimes +3 depending on the recording.

Okay, I had everything zeroed out on the head unit, but then people told me to put the sub level at max and then adjust your amp. I noticed that when I had the sub level at max, the sub was being fairly far so I went ahead and turned it down some. When I had everything zeroed out on my head unit, I then put the amp, but I still had to lower my sub level on the hu down to like -13. I still don't see how it's the loud with such little power.

keep your sub level at 0... are you using a DMM to set your gain?

If you have your sublevel all the way down on your HU, and the sub is still pounding, your gain is jacked on your amp.

The gain level on your amp should not be set very high... I'd be surprised if anyone's is properly set and more than halfway even, mine is just barely turned from the minimum.

I know what you mean. Gain is more important than people think it is. My gain is set at 0. So, I'll set my sub level at 0 and adjust my gain with a dmm. I didn't adjust it with a multimeter because I didn't know how to, but I'll look it up and do it.

Since I have 2 4ohm DVC subs bridged with the coils ran in parallel, then my total resistance should be 4 ohms right?

Could I bridge each sub across two channels? So have one sub across channel 1 and 2, then the other sub across channels 3 and 4. Then split each rca, so my left channel would go to channel 1 and 2, then my right channel would go to 3 and 4. So then I'd get 190 on each sub.

yes... bridging each sub to one channel ( when you bridge 1 & 2, and 3 & 4, they become 2 channels, not 4 essentially) is ok....
