Ive recently picked up a kicker impulse 12 inch. The guy who sold it to me claimed it could handle 450w clean. Ive seen psecs say its only 150w peak? which speaker should i use i have a rockford p 150s older model and a bandpass box.
The kicker dont seem as stiff as the sony or as heavy. The sony is rated at 800w.
I was hoping to just pickup a 400w rms 2 channel amp and run it to the kicker.
Ive been told to just pick up 2 8ohm amps and run and para and get 4 ohms mono??
Ive never seen to many 8 ohm amps ?? if my amp is already 4 ohms and its bridged aint i getting 4 ohms to the one sub mono??
Or should i just buy a sealed box for 2 12's and use both speakers i got Would that pound?
I personaly think the bandpass with one speaker sounds pretty good.
Im also trying to aviod using 2 sub amps i already have 2 amps running one to the door speakers and one to the subs any ideas?? Which speaker and what amp to put in
