Best way to secure a ground?

I usually use just about any bolt I can find so long as what it's attached to isn't flimsy...my ground is attached to one of the bolts in the back of my SUV that holds down a metal clip you can use to strap something in.

Im asking about a FRAME ground for my front battery.

 
Ah the frame sorry didn't see that. Why do you want to mount to the frame?
Front battery bro. The factory ground is on the frame. Thats what I've been using but the hole is stripped. Thats why Im trying to see what other people use to secure the ground so that its not loose. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

 
If you're the King of Bass, painted self tapping screws should suffice.

If you don't want your vehicle to burn to the ground, clean an accessible spot on the frame and put a bolt on it.

if you do the big three arent you suppose to go from the battery ground to the frame?
One of the big 3 is upgrading your body to frame/motor ground. If it is good enough, in theory, a body ground for batteries/amps should be as good as having a frame ground.

 
I'm just wondering cause my body ground is fine, I just used the factory ground and sanded it down some.

so basically i should have only one ground running from the battery itself, to the alt? then have a seperate from the frame to the engine block, bypassing the battery? i was under the impression i should have two grounds running from the battery itself, one to the frame and one to the alt

I wish I had a pick of it, but I have 1/0 runs going from my alt ground, front battery ground, and factory body>frame ground to a centralized spot on the frame. Essentially, my frame is like ground zero for anything grounded in the truck. Now, I can ground anything I want to the body and it will be well grounded to the frame, and the alternator.
