ok, so i was looking online and saw some 0 gage wire that was nothing but copper once you cut the insulation off. I know it makes a difference, but would it really be worth it to do all new runs in my truck of 0 gage wire just bc its copper? I was just curious to see if anyone changed it out from the regular 0 gage wire that they had and switched to the 0 gage copper wire and if it made a noticeable difference. Here is a pic of what I'm talking about........

Are you saying thats a solid strand of copper? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
yea it is....I have never seen this before or heard of any1 running it in their vehicles but it definately caught my eye.

Looks like 4/0 welding wire to me. Just a bunch of strands of copper wire tightly packed.. A solid strand of copper wouldnt have any flexibility.
couldn't have put it any better myself. That's why i wanted to ask every1 what they thought and if they have ever heard of it being done before with 1/0
