the easiest way to remove tint is with a hammer and a chisel, simple shatter the window, then get your warranty to replace it, if you don't have a warranty, get your insurance

company to reimburse you.

fellas just use a hair dryer and a razor blade

heat up and peel off

use razor to get excess glue off

i don't care how old it is but anyways... even if my tint is already purple i can still use a hair dryer and a razor blade?

use ammonia on the tint, let it sit in the sun, put at trashbag over the window so the tint bakes. if its good quality tint it will peel off(but you said its purple so its probably not), so if its not you peel off as much as you can then scrape the rest off with a flat razor. be sure to get the glue also.....
