Best way to get SPEAKER WIRE into BOX?!?!?!

Mmkay I was thinking stud as in just the threaded part of a bolt... But the bolt driven from the inside sounds like a great idea. Thanks a lot guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I've used all-thread and cut it to length, but it's an unnecessary PITA. If you just use screw type bolts and a double nut, you're golden. Brass bolts are always preferable as the galvanized ones aren't great for conductivity.

Awesome. Thanks so much guys. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

One other question - to try and not make another thread and clog the forum - After I carpet the box, and there's carpet going into the hole for the sub... Does that carpet mess up the airtight seal between the sub and the box? I was thinking about cutting the carpet right around the sub so it would seal against the MDF... what do you think?

Yes I would need to do it perfectly. Lol. I suppose I can carpet it as usual and see if I feel air leaking out, then take appropriate action if necessary.

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
