post your best method/tightest fit ever. also, i took some measurements of my honda civic trunk (2001) and found out i can fit about 6-7.5 cubes in it for a box, but getting it in would almost be impossible. just hoping to get some ideas to help me get that kind of box in my trunk.

In a trunk car, its not optimal to just cram the biggest box possible in the trunk.

Your going to choke off the trunk from the cabin, making your set up quiet & you

unhappy.

I had a civic. I knows

This guy knows what he's talking about. Heed his advice 09er.

Also, you should build a box based on the spec of you sub, not just the "biggest" you can fit.

Build it in the trunk like I did. I'm doing a 148.6 on 2 15's in my 05 civic, you can get loud. Trust me.
well with a single 15, i was doing over a 150.xx on the TL @ 44hz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

More is not better. I could still fit small items if needed for the drive to and from college.

Opps i should state that was in the kick, meca rules. Never built for the dash, but no doubt, could match my results.

If you DO plan on building in the trunk, make sure that your box is sealed off from the trunk firing into the cabin. You will see the best results that way

well the reason im pushing the big box is because im looking into buying and HDC3 18, my old setup (2 15s) had about 3-4 inches on each side for the box to move (about 36 inch width) and im thinking about using the same width, just making the depth bigger. would this still make my setup quiet?
