best way to fix rut?

i have a 95 honda accord ad the rust is gettin pretty bad on both sides, i was told to use POR 15 but found this

what are some other ways to stop the rust from spreading?

fill it in with dirt thats how i get rid of ruts.

Sand it, bondo what ever area needs to be filled, and then prime.

knock off the flakes and use a rust converter (available at autoparts stores or lowes/hd) to convert the rust to a black iron oxide. then you can paint over it

meh... its better to do it right the first time. All though that works sometimes I would really recomend fixing it the right way.

What is rusting exactly? Quarterpanels by the wheel well?

yes drivers side is all the way through, passenger side not yet

the only way to really get rid of it is to take it out and than weld in new metal. Thats the only way it will never come back.

depends on how bad the rust is IMO....if it is horrible cut it out and weld new...if not too bad grind prime and paint

for a cheap fix, go with the converter

i think it will still come back though and make you keep fixing it. Just take care of it the right way first and than you will be good.

You need to find someone to do it, I actually prefer to fix my vehicles rust by glassing them, much easier to shape and match than sheet metal is, just makes you a bit more itchy doing it.
