im thinkin instead of having 2 - 4ga wires runnin from my engine block, i should drop a 0/1 line in there and take it back to a couple dist. blocks in the back...

right now i have a 4ga wire runnin for my airride setup... and im going to add a little stereo setup (bout 600 watts RMS total, nothin big).. and i was going to add another 4ga wire, but might as well run 0/1 to the back then dist block to a couple 4ga, then dist to a few 8ga right? (comps need 8ga to each (total of 2), amps will need 8 ga to each) ...

does that sound about right?

anyways...

where is the best place to buy 0/1 wiring, is it cheaper by the kit? i want something flexible for sure... the 4ga i have now isnt flexible at ALL, the strands are super thick and it doesnt like to bend... runnin 0/1 to the back with something flexible would be much better.. and then if i ever upgrade further i am good to go.. I dont need anything but the 17-20' of 0/1, fuse holder, fuses, and ends...

can i run 0/1 back there with a 200-300amp fuse, but only be using 150 amps or so total on the other end? i mean its ok to be over right? the other dist blocks will have fuses on them... so i dont think that it will effect anything..

thanks guys...

yes it will be fine just fuse it at the wires amp rating for safety purposes.
