best tone for setting gains

Use pink noise, and with everything running full range, adjust your gains to match the levels between all your drivers. Then apply your filters and slopes.

40 hz? 50 hz? -3db? 0db?
what is the best?

edit: for sub, and using a DMM
Sooo..... You ride around listening to just a subwoofer?
That's easy then, just turn the volume knob up on your amplifier until you hear or smell something you don't like, then back it off a smidgen.

lulz
