I got a question, not sure if it's been covered before or not.I have 2 Rockford Fosgate power 250m's, old school ones. 500 watts into 2 ohms. my question is, what would work better, 2-12's at 500 watts each, or 1 a 1000 watts. Or is there a difference? from what I remember, is if you want to double the output, you be the double the power or double the subwoofer surface area. Thanks

Definitely 2 subs.

Entirely dependent on what subs you get. 1 sa-12 on a 1000rms will tear apart some 2 mediocre 500rms subs.
