Best Surge Protector to get??

I want to buy a good surge protector for my HA setup but don't want to go out blindly and spend alot of $ blindly.....any help would be appreciated.

Line conditioners are more of my preferrence. I'm not honestly sure how much the one I have on my system now runs, but it protects it from under voltage, over voltage (surge). How much equipment are we talking about protecting? ($$$)

I thought you brought your system up before and if I remember it correctly, it was pretty decent bucks. I'd say a conditioner or a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) which can be bought semi cheap.

APC makes really good models. All different specs and they do carry them at stores so you don't have to pay shipping.

I'll look around for line conditioners too.

Just a random one I found on ebay not what I am running, but I can't remember what i have right now. At least it shows you some of the pluses to power conditioners.

I run an old school panamax myself. I have been using it for about 8 years with no problems

It depends on what you need to protect? Do you need coax protection? phone line protection?

I would recommend the Panamx M4300-EX. It protects power, coax, phone and network lines.

Or if you have a larger budget go up the line
