I know somebody else is going to do it so I guess I'll do it first. Is it for a daily driver, for spl, etc - what's the purpose? How much room do you have to work with for the box? How much is your budget for an amp, or do you have one already?

I had some kicker cvr's, still have 1, there nice subs and can take a beating. You can probally find them on here for 100-115

space is no problem,he has about 200$ for an amp,yes they will be daily drivers.........and the price $130 is for both not each

He can be just about as loud and sound much better for 130 with 1 sub. The cookie cutter "2 12" system isn't usually the best way to go, let alone on a small budget.

crystal pro se there on ROE, i think there like $50, ppl on other forums say there better than the assassins.

I find it hard to believe the Crystals beating the Assassins. I'd like to know who started this rumor.

I would go with 1 sub for $130. In fact, an Alpine Type R or a CVR. They're proven subs that will totally absolutely perform. Sometimes the $50 subs can be....questionable.
