Best sub for sound quality?

I am looking for a sub with very high SQ. I am not looking for something that can shatter my windows. I do want it to be loud, but I am more interested in crisp clear sounding bass. For size I would like a 12-15, and i would like to stay under 300. What kind of sub would you guys reccomend for what I am looking to do.

Stereo Integrity Mag... V3 if your looking for ported and a little louder, V4 if you are gonna go sealed

this is true, the only reason to go ported is if your not satisfied with the loudness of it sealed. I run a 12" v3 Mag in a box at 30 hz and its loud and spot on accurate.. sealed would be even tighter bass, but i still like the loudness factor of the ported... also look into some Image Dynamics products I have no experience with them but have heard very good things as far as SQ goes

Thanks for the replies guys. Have any of you guys had experience with FI Q? The website claims it produces great SQ.

i had 2 18" q's and loved them....ran one for a while then went to two of them... not only are they good soundin quality but they get loud enough for spl too. solid

bullshit.. sealed isn't always better for SQ..

it depends on alot of factors.. i wouldn't seal the mag v3 12s..

OP what music you listen to? what car you have? what amp you have? how much space you have?

music is about 75% rap 25% classic rock and rock. 2008 altima. no amp yet. gonna get the sub first then match the amp. and looking for a sub that works in a 2 cube our less sealed box.

what do you guys think of the IA flatlyne? I'm really leaning towards that one.
