Best sub for small sealed enclosure.

OK, I am going to get a little more specific. I have an F150 crew cab, that right now I have 2 cheap planet audio 10"s under the rear seat. I am looking for a set of subs to replace these that will get louder. the mounting depth is 4 3/4 inches, max. And will play in an enclosure of .5 cu ft. Or has anyone used the single 10 in a ported enclosure under the seat? Or does anyone have any other ideas for a crew cab f150 that is still a family truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. if you go along the lines of JL, the 10w3s arent that bad sounding. I got a buddy who has an xtended cab ranger and he has 2 of them and it don't sound all that bad.

I picked up a pair of 12's bnib last week...so i'm sure some 10's can still be found.....i may try to squeeze them behind the back seat of my Tacoma

Could you build a new box? Two of these 8's ported under your seats would sound pretty good IMO.

Too bad they don't make an HO 8", but the HF should suffice, especially with two. And it's within your depth constraint.

Lower power handling, but tremendous xmax for the size and is good in a small enclosure, also fits depth constraint
