cooling includes pf chamber and spiders iirc. cooling will let it take a lil more power like 1200 to 1300rms without worries

heat ring is designed to go for higher frquency in sealed enclosures. more used for home audio in my opinion.

I would most likely be building my own box, so what type of bracing do you recommend? 45's meaning using a routing table to cut the corner of my port walls to 45 degree angles? I was planning on using one of the free enclosure designs on this site.

The free designed enclosures are fine, just make sure you find the the air space, tuning, and port area you need. 45s are normally cut on a table saw and slide into the 90 degree corners. You can check out some of the build logs(including mine) and see what we are talking about. Bracing would depend on the overall size of the enclosure and how it is constructed. Some may not need much or any in some situations. Others will need more. It could be 1" dowel or other various types of wood/metal. Also, if you plan on throwing down 1krms and playing low you may want to look into a double baffle to reduce flex as well.

alright, I called dc distributor in new york because I have no distributors in ohio and He priced the lvl 4 12" shipped at 295 and 15" 315$.. is there anyone on this site that sells dc? or dd?

i would not run a re *** on an aq, id rather run a sa-12 or skar 12 or incriminator audio li

Yeah, ill be ending this thread soon tho fyi. Im sure everyone is sick of me complaining about which woofer to pick.. but that tc woofer does pound i bet but the design is ugly as hell and its also used. idk, im sure ill get flamed for caring some about asthetics of my woofer than being all about performance!

Edit: i dont mean to rip on anyones products, i personally do not like the appearance of the dustcap on that sub.. i bet it pounds tho someone should buy it!

Okay.. the axis sub is quad vc.. how the **** do i wire that? ha and the 2nd add is 4ohm so i wont be able to truly push it to its rated continous power
