Haven't compared them, but from what I hear, JBL has been owning the SQ competitions for about 6 years running with that model. Definitely worth a look anyway. I wouldn't buy it unless you have a chance to hear it though. I really wouldn't suggest buying any sub without hearing it when you already have a nice one sitting around.

i know it was posted before about the 12"IDQv3, but just wait until the 15"s come out and stunt a single 15"IDQv3 ported..... should be the best of both worlds imo
