Best sub for 150$?

The same RE sub is on sale at sonicelectronix for $149 if you still want it.

If you would like to get something else for a change, perhaps JBL Power series would work? It looks like JBL is discontinuing their production (sonicelectronix took them down already), but you can still pick up the 10 inch subs for under $150 online. (e.g. JBL Power Series P1024 Component Car Subwoofers at Onlinecarstereo.com). You can probably find the 12 inch versions for a good price.

Every review I have seen suggests that these are great subwoofers. The only issue is that they're kind of oversized. You might need to mod the hole in the box to make these fit.

for 200 i can get you a nicer sub then anything lister hear. I have a custom made tc sounds tc9 sub that has never seen power. custom made by dave from psi one of the originals of re audio before they went Chinese and us amps bought them. thing is rated at 1500rms d2 8 later extended coil, will get crazy low and loud in a small orted box. dave said around 2 would be perfect but as small as 1.5 will work
