Mach 5 audio Maw 10" or 12" fits the bill pretty nice, eD subs are good for the money as well, not many people will agree with me, but I have used the O series and they worked very well.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Yes I have had some threads, but the circumstances have changed quite a bit, my budget has changed, etc. When I have more time I will look over all the suggestions and post back my thoughts.

My budget is $300. The amp will be about 100, so that leaves me 200 for subs and box. I can get a custom box for around $100 (can not build my own) or a prefab for around 60. So, I can spend up to $140 MAX on a sub and use a prefab sealed box, or spend $100 or less on the sub and go with a custom box. With that in mind, any suggestions?

I just get a 15" MB Quart RWE-352 for about $100 on ebay, they are SQ subs.

i would definitely look into the AA assassin. Really there's a lot of good suggestions, it all comes down to your personal preference

if you only have 300 watts at 2 ohms (hich would mean about 175-200 at 4 ohms) then i'm gonna have to vote for the AA assassin as well. you'll need something thats efficient thats a dvc 4 wired to 2 ohms.

Its gonna depend on how much room you want to give up for this, and I have to second those MB quart 15's on eBay for cheap, just over a hundred.

I want to keep the box size around 1 cu ft sealed, so I am going with a single 10 more than likely. I can get a Kicker 300 watt amp for 130 or an Alpine 400 watts amp for 140, both a little more than I thought. I would really like to keep the sub price under 100. Thanks for all the info, any suggestions on the ones I posted in the list above and how they compare to others mentioned? Thanks a lot.
