I'm looking to figure out the best possible setup when limited to these not ideal parameters:
I'm an audiophile and need this stereo to sound great but we need to get creative given the restrictions I'm putting on myself to keep the '83 Mercedes 300cd looking stock.
I really want to keep the Becker Grand Prix 612 head unit, but replace the two front dash speakers and two rear deck speakers...and hiding an amp somewhere in between to power them. A sub in the trunk is not an option, so choosing rear speakers that will make up for some of that bass will be key.
Here's the head unit.
Thank you!!
- (stock) Becker Grand Prix 612 Head Unit
- Two 3.5" or 4" front speakers
- Two 5.25" or 4x6" rear speakers
- + additional amp for speakers that I will hide somewhere
