Very loud SQ, I metered mine with just music playing, 145.8 dB's. 1 15 inch brahma that is. Still won first place today by just playing music lol.

I have my 1 15 inch brahma coming in the mail...i am going to be running it off a JBL 1200.1, what are you running yours off of? and what kind of enclosure/cubic feet is your box?

since you are a begineer and the sub is going into the trunk and your amp doesnt have a subsonic filter i would lean more to a sealed box at about 2.5 cft. read the manual to the sub. treat it with caution as it will be in the trunk where it might be harder to hear it distort. other than that enjoy..not saying you cant port it just recomend this type of set up to avoid potential agravations and it will still hit and sound great

I got a cadence a7+HC hooked up to it,. but my electrical system is all shot lol. I drive a 2001 civic ex coupe, and I havn't done anything to the electrical system, so I am lucky if the sub is even seeing 100 watts right now. It is in a SQ-alignment ported box. 4.4 cu ft before displacement, 3.5 after. Internal braceing, 2 ports. Ports are 3.5 inches on a side (square ports) and 26 inches long. The box is tunned to 25 hz.

Im a little new to car audio, i recently bought an audiobahn amp: (A2150HC 2 Channel 1200 watt) i have a truck box with two sorry offbrand (double bass twelves). and i have a two channel 300 watt jensen amp. anyways i want to buy two 12" subs that will hit very hard but not over like say 200 bucks. could anyone please suggest some, maybe that i could find on ebay?

i would like to know what spl and sq means as well. the outcome i want is bass that you can hear all the way outside... very strong, deep i guess you could say bass. and remember these subs are limited to less than 6" in depth because they will be in a truck box.

please help, thanks a lot!
