best SQ subwoofer?

i need a sub to finnish my stereo. i am looking for one 10 or 12 that has really good SQ, SPL is not as important for me i dont do any compititions. i would like something that hits really hard and is tight and acurrate. something under 300$ would be good.i listen to mostly heavy music like disturbed, system of down.......ect.

what do you guys recommend?

what do you guys think of the Eclipse Aluminium serries. i can get one of ebay for about 200$. and i have read good things about them.

the eclipses aren't bad, but id rather have a single sub setup like the idmax or brahma still.

I noticed this forum isn't a big fan of Perfects. If you're really serious about sq, they really are a huge player in the market. They aren't the greatest for spl, though my setup is kickin quite nicely. (until my amp blew, that is) If you're into mainly SQ, and not so much SPL, keep those perfects in mind. I couldn't say a bad thing about them.
