i have $1000 to spend on my new upgrade so what the best SQ sub under $1000? run off a Arc Audio 1000.1 thanks

Uh-uh. I had a W6 in a sealed box built to manufacturers spec with great attention to sealing cracks, and a G5 with the GTR in a sealed box. Regardless of the fact that the G5 had the reverberation of the interior soundwaves pushing the GTR out, it was still miles better than the JL in the well made sealed box. The W6 is clean, but not deserved of the top of the list.

thats why i said some would say, I have seen the boston and thought it sounded nice but i have heard better. i have also heard alot worse from some spendy "SQ" subs out there lolz.

1000$ budget for a single sub... ****. Look at some XBL^2 based Subs.

JL w6, Type R, IDQv.3 they are good but not good enough, i am thinking Morel Ultimo, Rainbow Vanadium or Focal, anyone know anything about them?
