If you are wanting SQ in a REAL sense sell your amp and get a 600-1500 watt amp and either a pair of IDMAX or IDQ and do a baffle board/ free air (if you have a trunk) That should create enough action for you too LOL

Usually an SQ system won't need more then 1kw

Even that is a bit much.

In a SQ system: All your base needs to do is add very smooth low end extension. Not shake the car.

Never owned one but I heard one and I agree, which other sub shares that motor, I can't think of it right now?

I want to say tc3000, but not sure.

Aura, never heard, but people have raved about it. Suprised that hasn't been mentioned considering "no budget" was given.

The FI Q was nothing special IMO. Enjoyed the sound of my CVX over it, which was a hundered dollars cheaper and lasted.......

I suppose, but SQ from a subwoofer and musical SQ is different, It'd be tough to convince me that you could have 3000watts in the trunk and 150 on your comps and have the music blend well. It just doesnt make sense to me

I have had a W6 and W7 but the Morel Ultimo sounds sooo much nicer than both of those, unbelievable accuracy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif. The W6 was a lot more efficient at producing volume but for SQ and nothing more I am sticking with my ultimo, can't see me changing it for a very long time.

JBLs top of the line sub, forget wht its called sounded amazing off like 1500 watts.

IDMax was awesome too, wish i could put together a few of em for a setup.

AA Brahma was the best all around sub ive ever heard though.

The RD Sonance V.2 is also an excellent SQ sub very musical, best I have heard. If you get the flat wound coils then they can handle about 1200-1500WRMS to.
