best SQ sub under $150

Ok, the more I read, the more I get confused, I just want to buy a sub that can hit nice and clear with a little bit of SPL I mean Iwant to feel the low tunes but dont want to get my ears bleeding.

Which ones on the list do you recoomend, Im gonna put it in a sealed box, shoul I get a 10 or 12" considering I will be powering IT with 200-300 watts RMS

1.- JL W3 or W6 dvc

2.- Boston acoustics pro

3.- Alpine type R

4.- Infinity kappa perfect

or anyone you consider better than this ones

I dont want to loose many trunk space so I want to put them in a ver small sealed enclosure and the use polyfill to "make" the box sees larger for the sub.

Do you think a 0.7cu ft box would perform like a 0.9cu ft with lots of polyfill?

Well, you might consider the Adire Shiva, or the Elemental Designs 12k. Both are within your price range, and are excellent performers.

Audiobahn ALUM Q. $129 + shipping. I tried to get these to give up, distort, play too fast and fall over themselves and couldn't do it. I found the fastest bass beat i could and the subs just shrugged it off. so, i speed up the sond by about 25% but still have to test and see what happens.

the main flaw is they take a good amount of power to get em going (300+ Watts). but once you do it is very nice.

I agree, great subs. also the elemental designs K series.

I heard MB Quart makes great SQ subs. I'd try the reference series. Supposedly the 12" can go as low as 18 htz. http://www.mmxpress.com/mbquart/woofers.htm

as for these, i have never heard them, but the Bahns can do the same 18Hz and is in his price range.

goddyme, is that a typo and you meant that ampmanaudio IS an authorized dealer, or did you mean that the place that sells the audiobahns wouldnt be an authorized dealer. I hope you meant the place that sells the audiobahns cus ampman would be pissed to hear someone say he isnt authorized to sell adire audio products.

dont confuse the man , i was talking about the Audiobahn ALUM Q series subs (like i stated in my previous post). I gaurentee they will keep up will almost any other SQ woofer out there, including those you listed.
