what is a really good SQ sub 10 or 12 that will hit the low's really good and sound crisp and clear playing loud? im trying to figure out what i want and i think ive decided that i dont really want anything really loud, i want something that will get loud but sound good doing it. i want a nice sub that is in the middle of SQ and bass but more towards SQ if that makes sense lol.

btw how does a AA 12 compare to a infinity kappa 10.1 D 12?

I'm really learning and and growing in this car audio pool of knowldge ,

You got to listen to them ,the trick i advice is to get what your system can handle

like set yourself a range .

what kinda power you working for ,

is your component or mid bass going to be too soft if your sub get too loud ,

what kinda battery you have ,

what kinda wire you use .

buying a very good sub but sire up with cheap wire will restrict your sub .

My father listen to SQ music . he only have a set of component in his car with two front 5" and a set of of good tweeter .

to him this is SQ

when he see my car and then type of music i listen

his comment is my music give him headache my bass is too strong "P

since none of these guys gave you an answer to your question here is a sub that fits that description very well and i know this becouse i actually have one http://sonicelectronix.com/item_7492_Eclipse+SW6200.html
hey thanks man i appreciate that. that sub looks nice ill have to keep that one in mind.

the aa 12 and 12.1 D subs are really getting my attention though. i used to have a infinity kappa 10.1 d and it was really nice i would like to know how the aa compares to the infinity since i have not heard much about AA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I'd get a PG RSD over that Eclipse. They're around the same price and the RSDs have recieved rave reviews. And I didn't post a big list because I already did so in another thread about this same topic. That thread happens to be in the 7th from the top at the moment, so it's not like it was hard to find.

My point: Take the time and initiative to do a simple search before you post a thread. There are several topics around here that get repeated constantly (Cheap SQ subs, $200 components, etc.)

Which AA? And there are much better subs out there than Infinities. Check out this thread

However, infinities do very well. Look for a perfect 12vq, which hits the lows better than the regular 12.1, and btw, ihave had both. I also have an RL-P which is amazing, and i still think the infinites sounded good. However, but hintzboy does have a good point that searching will yield a wealth of knowledge.

dude i dont know were you guys have been but do u know who makes eclipse the answer to that would be TC sounds.......nuf said if you put that eclipse in a big enough box tuned right it will pound my friend has 2 diamond d6's and has them in a box i made for him and my one eclipse puts the diamonds to shame

That might be the problem, lol. Remember, ~90% of performance is install. I have an Eclipse SW8102. Its equivalent is the TC7, and TC makes several models above the TC7. I would guess that the sub you linked is between the TC db500 and TC1000 territory. A properly installed D6 will make for a very nice system.

im talking about the assasins. idk how to find the specs on them b/c AA's site is down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
The Assassins are supposed to be pretty good, and the Arsenals even better. Arsenals tend to go for around $150 used here. If you're interested in AA products, you'll have to buy used, because AA isn't selling anything until the new lines come out. They might have older models cheap though if there was any overstock.

AA has NO old stock. Called 3-4 weeks ago and that's what they told me.

I've only heard the AA 8's and the SQ was very good on them.

Used 12" RL-P would be another good choice. A few available in the classifieds I believe.
