Best SQ - SQL sub

The title says it all. Lets say money is not a HUGE problem.

Will be a lot of hip hop - I love mobb deep and nas and old grimy rap shit like that. I also like acoustic rock and whatnot. But the key thing is here I love my SQ. I will probably seal up the box. It still has to get loud but I am a health freak and do not want to damage my hearing, understand? So anything that sounds AMAZING at great tolerable sound levels will get my buy.

Would you guys recommend 2 10"s or 2 12"s for SQ / SQL. I will probably be sealing the box up and maybe stuffing it because I hear that's how you get the most SQ. Power will not be a problem I am willing to buy as much as I need.

Money is not a huge issue here.

my vote would be the iDmax. one 12" ported is well enough for me. two 12" sealed is really nice also.

the si mag is nice also, but I would choose the idmax over the mag... just my opinion. the max would also be cheaper in price which is a plus.

You can get just as good of sound quality with ported as sealed. It's just a lot harder to do right. Stuffing will prevent some box resonance. Put too much in, and your box will act as if it is bigger than you built it.

mag's rarely show up there because 1. they are not mainstream (thank god...i can't imagine what mom-n-pop shops would be charging) 2. when they do come up for sale...they usually go quickly since they are completely awesome subs. Check my sig...i use the equipment i say is great.....not because i'm a fanboy

i also love the SS RL-p 12"s, the JL Audio W6V2 12"s

I also agree with the SS-RLP.

Also, you are old school in some of your thoughts(as i was) that SQ can only be sealed, and only 10's and 12's. Those are myths. Search a little on here, but that is the general consensus, especially if you like the lows, low porting is the way to go. Try one SS-RLP 15. soundsplinter.com

i would have to recommend the new V2 alphas..... they are a great woofer for low-tuned ported applications... the DD 3500s do great as well tuned low with alot of port area..
