BEST SQ Headunit??

I would like to get some opinions on some of the best SQ headunits ever made. I have not had a chance to listen to many of these units, but I am considering them for my vehicle and would like to hear what people like/dislike. Here is a list I am considering, please feel free to add to it. Thanks!

Headunit: Searching for the right sound - Currently Alpine CDA-9887

Tweeters: Dynaudio MD100

Midrange: Morel CDM54

Midbass: Dynaudio MW160

Amp: Mcintosh MC440 (Front Stage)

Amp: Phoenix Gold MPS2240 (Sub)

Sub: Image dynamics IDQ10

Crossover: AudioControl Digital for everything - no passive crossovers

Placed 6th in "Consumer Q" at USACi World Finals

7998 is a single din but the screen comes out....kinda like a dvd flip out

I appreciate all the replys so far, but what I gues I am looking for is more than someone listing a product number....I know what they are. I am looking for a description of sound characteristics or personal experiences with the units.

Honestly the best unit you can get will be near impossible to get ahold of. The name is totally escaping my mind but it was fully upgradeable and was being sold through ED for a short period of time.

I believe AZbass had one.

Purely source unit I would go Denon. Source with processing would be alpine F#1 with the P9 combo close behind.

The p9 is what I will be running when I finish my next build.

The ural? Very nice deck though I would not recommend it as a ultimate sq deck.

Only if you are also use the outboard processor. IMO the 7990 by itself is nothing special.

I will be back in Omaha at the end of the month. Would love to hear your set-up.

Ah, URAL! That is it. I've heard that it has great SQ. Although I'm guessing there are better. It does too many things really well to do SQ great.
