I don't need one of these
Ok, I had this type of a thread awhile back for a under 5k deal... well I think I'm going to up my budget a bit... so... what is the best SPORTS SEDAN/COUPE for under 10k that can handle snow (read that FWD or AWD)..

Also remember I have a hookup with a car dealer so the cars can be found at auction (read ~3k under what you'll pay at a dealership)...

Right now the 01-03 Acura CL type S is lookin' good but there has got to be alot of other options out there... I'd like to stay north of 200hp still and have after market suspensions available... also handling > speed so no straight line wonders (ie mustang)

03 cl-s 6 speed
Thing is I can get an 03 cl-s auto for $9500 with a known history (the guy is a fanatic about his cars).... I'd usually not even think of an auto but I will potentially be commuting 1- 1.5 hours (each way) every day and an auto starts to sound nice...

I am biased, but you should look into the Auroras.

1st and 2nd gen have the same hp (250 I believe)

I prefer the 1st gen looks wise.

Very nice cars, luxurious enough for me, and have enough power.

do your research, the autos arent the most reliable but most are under an extended warranty. Either way that car can will go fast, I would definitly recommend good tires for the winter though.

9500 is a great deal though

Oldsmobile doesn't usually strike me as making cars with decent handling...

Wrx.

The WRX and 1g talon/eclipse is a thought... but I'd prefer a sedan... a biggish one... my friends 2.5rs was WAY too small to comfortably commute in....

I was looking at these two DSMs

I'm surprised no one has mentioned audi's... but I was never really inspired by their performance anyways... maybe an A6 2.7T... but i'd have to drive one and think on it.... plus the reliability of any VW brand is in question

I've owned a 93 Regal, 92 Sunbird, 02 Sable.

I've driven a modified Lancer.

The Aurora all around is my fav.

I know the list isn't that long, but they really do handle well. They're not all top heavy at all, and they're two tons.

I don't want to go back and forth arguing, couldn't you just take one out on a test drive and see for yourself?
