Hey everybody,
I have a HiFonics Nemesis NX880 amp. Here are its ratings:
4 x 110 watts RMS @ 4 ohms
4 x 220 watts RMS @ 2 ohms
2 x 440 watts RMS @4 ohms
I would bridge two channels to my Elemental Designs 16kv.2 subwoofer, and I am looking for the best pair of 6.5 component speakers for this setup.
I used to have a set of CDT EF-61, which I loved, but somehow I managed to blow them (which I still don't understand, since they shouldn't be overpowered with this amp, right?)
Anyway, my sub does a great job of providing strong bass, but I also like some bass up front. I like clean, clear, detailed sound, but I don't like tinny metal sounding highs. Any suggestions?
