Best solution for 4" Dash speaker?

Only way I used them was like this... Tell me if you think kicks would sound better?

They hammered when they were in the doors, and heres all the guys did. They simply made a 6x9 1/4" baffle, attached it to the door, did no dynamatting, and sealed off nothing. Simply put them in the fired them up.

Wonder if they would sound better in a kick?

I am going to call Kicker techs tomorrow and see what they say about either building a simple baffle on the floor, a kick sealed enclosure, or throwing them in the doors.

What what you guys think if he did the MB Quart QSC 3 way set? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

for SQ, try the HAT 3" or 4" mid or the the scanspeak 12M. As for the 8" midbass, like the guys said above, the kicks will not have any where near enough airspace unless you vent them to the outside - freeair subs need a lot of airspace. You could also AP them into the doors, gives you a smoother response.
