Best solution for 4" Dash speaker?

I have a dash speaker in the corners and one in the cener. Not sure I am going to use the center speaker, but I want to do some 8s in the door or kick panels.

I have Infinity Kapp speakers right now in there, with crossovers. Has anyone used a 4" that was happy with the performance?

I guess the other option is a 6.5 component using the dash area for tweeters.

Anyone have suggestions for the 4" or just go with the 6.5 and tweet?

By the way, I have a Memphis Big Belle to run the front stage (75x4 in 4ohm and 115x4 in 2ohm). Half the channels are being used by the Kicker 8" mids.

I am in the process of putting my Cmass front stage in, I am running 8" midbass in the doors, 6" in the kicks, 4" in the dash with tweets in the same pods as the 4"

Basically a 4way active front stage

going in a chrysler 300C srt

Have 8s for the doors or kicks, have not decided yet they play like 50 - 300 or so...

I just want something higher end than what I have, and no need to play anything below 200 plus

you could get away wiht a nice set of 4" comps, I think the stock spk in the dash of you car is a 3.5, but with a little manipulating you can get the 4" in there and running it above 200-250hz you should be very happy with the results. Your staging will be lifted greatly

I have the 4" Kappas in there now. I enlarged the holes, and trimmed them up!

i wouldnt put 8's in the kicks, you'll get better sound and performance with them in the doors.

but how much would you have to build out the door to fit the 8's?

those 8's are they the free air ones?

mounting depth,do you have alot of foot room to give up?plus if you dampen the door correctly, its almost an ideal enclosure.

but hey that how i did it in my nissan kingcab back in the day.

I have a nice ampount of foot room, and a dead pedal I could lose.

I never had klcks before and I might want to try to make them... I read a post on here, made it sound easy.

Plus I neer has them before!
