You have to have a prescription for Ambien. Not sure about the other one. You can always ask your doctor for a sample.

Flexoril is also a prescription med. Can't get it OTC.

I'm fortunately not affected by insomnia so I'm no expert on what works well. The g/f says Tylenol PM works for her.
