Best Shallow Mounted Sub?

im not sure how they are as far as power handling abilities or how they sound but there is the RE SL class, a 10" and 12".

elemental designs sq10

Exile XT10

MB Quart RSH 252 10"

probably more but thats about all i know of so far. the ed sq10 and re sl10 are only 3" mounting depth

Take a Look at American Bass Slim Line sl104 series. 3.5" mounting depth. The 12"s worked wonders in 1.1 cu ft. for us under the back seat of a 09 Silverado. They aren't that pretty but WAAYYY more affordable than JL, or RE. I can hook you up with a 10" P.M. me. if interested. E.D. SQ10's are a good musical choice also.

The Memphis S-class have a suprising output for shallow mount subs. They'll take 500RMS all day (on the 12") and work in a box down to .5 cubes

i recently tryed these in a customers hummer and i was really disopnted..we blew 1 up in the first 10 min and the second 1 lasted only a half hour it was sealed at .5 wich is what thay recomend...and with 300 watts on it the sub had really no out put...hands down the worst sub i have ever used and i will never use there gear again cause of this

I blow 4 of the pioneers as well on about 300w each sealed in .7... I just wanted to see if they have improved much it does not seem like it...

The new SI BM's need to come out. I'm thinking about picking up a single cab s10 so a decent shallow mount would be nice
