I'm afraid at first you are trying to bite off more then you can chew, to put it bluntly. However we and the search feature can give you a crash course in car audio. I decided to quickly throw together a "complete" system with some prices from online sites. Least if you don't like it this will give you an idea of what it may break down like, and others can nit pick the particular items and or make suggestions. Here goes...
Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9856 $177 plus iPod cable $30
Front speakers: Alpine SPR-17LS (6.5" component speakers) 70wrms $139.00
Rear Speakers: Alpine SPR-17LP (6.5" 2-way) 50wrms $89.00
Speaker Amp: Hifonics ZXi 4406 puts out 55wrms times 4 @4ohm $184.00
Subs: 2x Fi SSD12 12" 800wrms sub Dual 1ohm wired to 1ohm $189 apiece
Sub Amp: Hifonics BX1605D 1600watts @1ohm, or get 2ohm subs and wire it for 1100watts @2ohm $229.00
Misc: Figure maybe $200 for wiring and misc install items, wiring for amps, dash kit, adaptor harness (if necessary) speaker wire, misc stuff you find you need.
Enclosure: You may be able to build yourself one for fairly cheap, or have someone here give you a quote, thinking maybe $50-150 for a budget box.
Total: $1,576 for the prices I quoted
This is all also granting that you do it yourself. There is many places in my estimate where you could save money i.e. run the speakers off the HU, skip the rear fill or cheaper coax speakers, and/or buy used/refurb of course.
Of course this is just for reference purposes only, for instance I got my 4 5.25" speakers for $118 and my 2 12" subs for $118 had my HU which was $200 brand new and bought a Walmart amp kit for $30 to feed my used Jensen amp which I got for $75 off a friend, total $541 and I built my own sealed box with left over MDF and only purchased carpet for about $30.
Best advice I can give you is take your time, listen to some speakers break down your budget into how much per component you are willing to spend, and what kind of "corners" you are willing to cut to fulfill your personal preference.
