What is the best way to set up a meet through craigslist for car audio ( im selling my headunit) I just want to lessen the likelihood of being robbed or **** going down..

and How should i present the head unit? have it ready and out, or show that it works then take it out

ummm... best scenario it would during the day in front of a shopping center or gas station where people are around. I would bring a friend as well...

as far as the head unit. I would already have it our and ready to hand over and if possible have wires ready to show that it powers up...

Yeah, bring a buddy. And really any public place is good. I prefer parking lots to gas stations, little less congested.

ive done several deals like this, and one thing i do is make the other person/party seem comfortable with me. make a set price agreement over the phone or through emails before meeting in person just to avoid potential trouble outside. of course meet up somewhere public but dont make it look like a dope deal hiding shit and acting suspicious.

Whenever I sell something like that I make sure they can see that i have a concealed weapon. Last time, I had a young man call me about an amp I had for sale. Went to meet him, I got out of the car and mad sure my shirt was tucked into my gun holster. I was like oops, sorry man, I have a concealed weapons permit, hopefully that doesn't bother you. He said it didn't, but needless to say he said he was going to his house and come back with cash and never returned. He was just planning on jacking my amp until he saw I was carrying.
