best rear wheel drive car for less then 30k?

have to say the new body style 5.0,walks the dog on ANY of the other muscle cars, especially the chargers/challengers...and even the camaro..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif,then again, you looking for something to build on...? or simply buy and drive...?

you all fail.

fr-s is slow. has a NON turbo 2.5L which is very similar to the one in my wagon..

top list?

1. 240sx (s13/s14/15) RWD. light, easily swapped or turboed. the ka24 stock engine is good for about 12lbs and torque. sr20 is a higher revving twin cam turbo for upper end power. RB26dett is the ultimate swap. skyline motor. fast, and can put up with tons of boost.

2. 350/370z. already they are fast. sharp. a little heavy, but a great car. have been around a few turboed and procharged. nuts.

3. genesis coupe. come in 2.0t mitech engine. similar to evo engine. or 3.8l v6. fast, light. powerful.

Since I bought my 370z new in 2010, I speak with experience. They are a nice car. The build quality is good. Much tighter fit than a mustang. That is what my friend said while test driving after getting his 2013 5.0. It handles better than it goes fast. It is fun to scare people when you can do 40mph faster than posted areond a corner with no tire squeal. It gets about 20mpg around town. The most I have seen on the high is 28 but average closer to 25-26.I recommend the sport package and hats install your own stereowhich I assume you since you are on this forum.

It is as quick by a long shot as the camero or mustang v8's. They are very loud. Spend some money on sound deadening the hatch area. The stock tires are rediculiously loud. The stock radio is on par with an early 90's chevy corisa.

If I didnt have a pickup truck at my disposal it would be tough to live with everyday as a only vehicle. The hatch arsa is small. Go putting a sub in the back and it very small. Ican fit about $150 worth of groceries in it. Forget about buying a 40in tv, a 30 pack of beer barely fits with my z enclosure 1.25ft box.

If this is your only car I would recommend a brz or fr-s. The usable trunk and while the back seats are small they are extra storage space. It is funner to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. It will help keep your license in tacked as well. Another thing to think about is insurance. My 370z is more expensive than 400hp vette. The people that buy them are different. Old men buy vettes and don't crash them. If you want a fast one look at vette, the c7 is about to come out so the c6 is going to look dated and will be cheap to pick up a babied used one.

Used: - 1. 03' Cobra

2. A Nice Clean 02' Camaro SS or ***** Am ws6

3. Late model GTO or G8

New: - (May be out of the 30k budget, I'd buy lightly used)

1. Mustang GT 5.0

2. Buick Regal GS

3. Cadillac ATS

4. Genesis Coupe
