I can tell you about my uncanny rage for those who tantalize me with, "hi I'm interested in buying your sub, call me" and then never f*cking talk to me again...

I was selling a pair of subs and a box on Craigslist one time and met quite an interesting individual. He tells me he is only able to meet me at 8PM or later at Wegmans parking lot and at first I thought this was going to end up sketchy as anything but it actually turned out to be quite comical. So I pull up and see his friend reclined all the way back passed out and then his old Sony subs barely thudding, it was a sad scene. Anyways. I bring out the box and subs and he wants to test the subs so I said sure. He goes and pulls some speaker wire from the depth of his trunk and then I noticed something, that wire is connected to his inverted subwoofers speaker terminals.. At first I just kind of looked away and wiped off my smirk but it gets better. He then proceeds to hook up this speaker wire to my subwoofer. So right now we've got some subwoofer on subwoofer action and I'm about to die laughing but he keeps going with it. He puts his head all the way onto the cone and listen to it and starts nodding his head like he's listening to a beat. Then he says "Yeah this one sounds good" and repeats the process with the other one. I'm barely holding it in because I thought he was just ******* with me but he was straight faced. So both apparently "Check out" according to him and we load them back into the box and proceed to put it in the car. We're sliding the box in and it hits his friend in the head and the kid doesn't even move. The guy just goes and reclines his seat back up and pushes the box all the way, pays me and we go our separate ways.

Yeah, you tell me..

Plugs my amp in, maxxes out EVERY setting on it. Cranks it. You could CLEARLY hear how blown his 2 10" L7's were. They were just scratching and huge amounts of distortion.

He was like YEAH DAWG DIS IS BANGIN YO.

Pays me and I go home laughing the entire way.

Kinda felt bad for my amp, had it 5 years. I bet she is dead now LOL

I have two. A few months ago. I had a guy say that OBO means to go over what his/her listed price is. So says its 50 bucks. When I made a offer I was to go over that amount. I laughed so much at him. He was pissed that I was laughing.

I just had a guy on CL, Was looking at a sub I have on there. Said he was a sundown dealer. I am like your a dealer but shopping on CL for a used sub. Makes sense right.
