I think Gauntlet pretty much summed up my feelings on this crap in the previous page, but I will throw in my 2 cents...

JadaKiss is overrated. D-Block is mentioned on MTV almost every time I turn it on (which is very seldom, btw).

Like gauntlet said, every mixtape in NY sucks ***. You can drop a mixtape every other week when it's regurgitated beats and cookie cutter gimmicks, doesn't take much really. I feel sorry for you if you are really dropping that much money on mixtapes from NY- because they are god awful.

Christ, shut the fu*k up. D-Block sucks, and pretty much all the NY mixtape cats ****. The only one that's actually good is Saigon. If you knew so much about good rappers from NY, you would be talking about Cormega.
And none of the people you mentioned are actual DJs. Barely any mixing, next to no scratching, just a bunch of yelling. Once again, if you knew what you were talking about you would mention cats like J-Love, L, Vlad, Absolut, etc.

More than you. SDE flopped, Confessions of Fire went Gold, Come Home With Me went 1x Platinum, and Purple Haze just had a bad debut at #20 with less than 150k units moved. The only reason dude ever reached platinum was because of Just Blaze lacing him on 'Oh Boy'

And Jay just dropped Cam off the label, so he'll be going the indy route, probably joining Jim Jones/JR Writer at Koch. Which means less promotion, less widespread distribution, a small budget for production (which he desperately needs) and less sales. I'm honestly wondering what in the hell you are talking about.
