Outkast hasn't fell into that world either IMO. One listen to The Love Below/Speakerboxx basically shows that there is hardly anything mainstream about their style. Their lyrics are the same, and the beats are hardly what is out there nowadays. The Love Below especially took guts to make, because there is very little to appeal to kids these days who like hip hop, but Andre did it anyways because thats his style. Speakerboxxx, save The Way You Move, doesnt really have any "commercial" or mainstream sounding beats on it. They aren't gangsters, they aren't shooting anyone, and they aren't talking about it in their lyrics. Please explain further. They have no succumb to the mainstream bug & fell into the world of shite like Outkast.

1)tupac-loyal to the game is sick2)eminem-I used to hate him and his music, now he completely flipped his style and music and came up.(new album sucks though except bonus cd)
3)anything shady aftermath-why? because dre mostly helps em,em helps aftermath.
one of the reasons I like shadyaftermath label is because they have a lot of sick beats.
ludachris, gangstar, rakim, bonethugs, nwa, and I forgot notorious BIG iller than illest
I'm sorry, I liked them more back when they did rap music, not Hip Hop. Once again I say this, I bought their Weakerbox album & literally drove over the cd after I heard it. Their first 2 or 3 albums are classics, this album sucked & it maked it worse because it had such a mass appeal. If your parent s like it too, something is wrong.
I'll stick with my underground peeps. Lynch Hung, T-Nutty, Luni Coleone that spit the real & sh*t I can feel. I wanna bob my head, not dance.
I will never buy another one of their albums & they have lost a fan.
I'm sure their hurting. Honestly I think Outkast couldn't care less if they sold albums or not. They make music that they like, and try to be different from everyone else. I dont know if you and I were listening to the same album, but The Love Below/Speakerboxx only have a handful of beats you could actual dance to. Most of their stuff on that album sounds like it came straight from a drum machine with some Casio keyboard samples on top of it. I didn't like it at all at first simply because it sounded so off the wall. I dont see how someone could say it has a "pop vibe" which is what I feel you're getting at. But thats your perogative and its mine to disagree with you. Different strokes for different folks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gifI will never buy another one of their albums & they have lost a fan.
