Honestly I think Outkast couldn't care less if they sold albums or not. They make music that they like, and try to be different from everyone else. I dont know if you and I were listening to the same album, but The Love Below/Speakerboxx only have a handful of beats you could actual dance to. Most of their stuff on that album sounds like it came straight from a drum machine with some Casio keyboard samples on top of it. I didn't like it at all at first simply because it sounded so off the wall. I dont see how someone could say it has a "pop vibe" which is what I feel you're getting at. But thats your perogative and its mine to disagree with you.
