Best "midpower" 12" sub for $250?

Cool guys. The RE SE12 I've been looking at fits right in my budget at $250. I'd prefer not to go over this. So i have this refined listing now of possible candidates:

•RE - SE12

•Fi - X, SSD or Q?

•Arc Audio - 12D4

•IDQ12D4

•Arsenal 12

The Fi drivers seem pretty popular around here, and the low prices are very attractive (nearly half of an RE SE12) but I've heard so many good things about the RE's that I can't just ignore them. My local shop carries ID stuff, could probably get an IDQ12 easily.

I'd personaly go with an IDQ12 for the SQ, altho their harder to find now. my brother's sound great in a 1 cft sealed. The Arc would probably sound pretty good too, havn't heard it personaly tho. Duno if anyone has tried the FI X or SSD's yet, I'm powering up my Q's for the first time tommrow so I can't really say anything about them yet.

please only give recommendations on woofer you have at least heard. the 2500 is an excellent sounding woofer, as is the 3500, and the 1000's. its all install and power dependant.
umm yeah lol. i heard their "sq" set up at CES 2 times ..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

the arc might be the best deal for you, Fi has a nice SS sub you can get in a dual 1 ohm that would work for you. But RMS on that sucker is 800 and your looking for something lower power.

I believe someone has an OEM ID sub , bigger like ED O series for sale, dual 4.

-And its cheap too, and believe me, my pair sounds awesome off 250 rms per side.

I don't want to forget about DD drivers here, if not simply for their amazing customer devotion and attention to your problems. From the limited contact I've had with them they seem to really want to help design a custom built system, even requesting dimensions, available power, car model, music preference, even pictures. Thats pretty darn thorough if you ask me.

With only 400 watts available, and no intentions to step up the amp for a while, I'm beginning to think it will be important to get something with a high sensitivity, like the Resonant SE12. From what I read, frequency for frequency these are louder across the range than an identically powered competing subwoofer, I think they were looking at an Adire.

While sound quality is my single largest priority, the fact is I'm going from 2 lesser subs to 1, so I cant completely forget about spl differences.
