Best quality/value kegerator...

Closing on my 1st house July 2nd//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and would like to get a keg cooler for my nice finished basement....I've read reviews on a few but would rather hear from someone with personal experience.....

I've seen these everywhere...but I am NOT a "hands on" type of guy. I'd rather pay a tad more and know it's done right. Thanks for the help though!

I am serious...I bought one from there and loved every minute of it. Had to get rid of it a few years ago, but my friend still had and uses it. Its now got to be 5 or 6 years old and running great.

you can get nicely priced ss ones at sams and costco. i do believe that home depot or lowes sells them as well.

I'm with Hoss on the homemade deal - it is not difficult at all to do either.

However, if you want a ready-made unit you will have to decide what type/style of kegs you intend on purchasing. Some units support more than one style, others do not.

seriously though, just get a used fridge and put a tap on the side...thats what i would do

if money isnt an issue and you dont want to cut a 1.5" hole in a fridge, then buy a premade kegerator, but a used fridge with a faucet out the side will be the cheapest way to go and work just as well

i was a "draught line tech" for budweiser and coors for years. you can usually buy used taps, handles, faucets and a regulator from your local distributor so call them up and ask

btw, your gonna need:

faucet

shank

tap

regulator

co2 tank

handle

2 lengths of tubing(one to the tank, one to the tap) some tubing comes pre terminated and some doesnt, but they can terminate it for you easily if you know the length

If you drink imports your gonna need a different tap, Budweiser doesnt usually distribute imports so try coors, they handle alot of them
