1995 Buick LeSabre, going for a single DIN HU.

I like using the factory radio brackets and ISO mount holes, then the plastic Metra kits for cosmetics. I've seem some American International kits that had metal brackets before.

I typically default to Metra. but any plastic kit will need some support and a backstrap

I've used a Metra and a Scosche brand kit for an 07 Yaris.

The Metra kits have a smooth texture to them. The pocket that sits under the single din is typically larger than the Scosche kit.

Scosche kit has a rougher texture with a smaller pocket under the radio. In my case the Scosche was a better fit.

I don't believe I have enough post to put up pics. I'll check ina few.

American international makes the nicest kits, but generally only high end shops sell them. I have about 1500 of them and can really tell a difference in fitment between one of those and a schosche or metra, schosche being the bottom of the barrel.
