might as well go with Brax then, though I heard they bench in at exactly what they're rated for and sometimes less.Like I said, Audison HR-100. Hasn't been made in close to a decade. Not because if its sound but simply because it was a work of art. Simple dual mono 100x2 amp. Absolutely huge. Teak wood faceplate and ends.
For amps currently in production, I'd have to go with Helix's highest end again simply for the looks. Gorgeous amps.
Peep my post its not my opinion I just speak on how Mmats has proven themselfs, by how well they build there amps, and breaking the most records in spl and sq comps till they stoped competing. I wonder how many more years they woulda held there reign if they woulda kept on going. They destroyed every amp out on the market from sq to spl for a couple of consecutive years, just look at the records, that's some heavy reputation. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifI expected someone to post the bestests quality stuff there is, but no one did. Only opinions on what they think is the best quality //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
I really thought there was a 'best.' what a disappointment.
Never seen an SQ install with MMATs amps.
Could you hug their nuts a little bit more BTW. You coming in and whoring them up every post doesn't make them any better and it makes you annoying. I don't even bother reading 99% of your posts anymore because they all say the same thing. Not knocking MMATS cause I know that they make a solid amp but you're getting tiresome.
Last I checked the MA amps only make their rated power @ 17V. Do you run a 17V system daily? Didn't think so. There are several companies making amps bigger than 10K that can actually make their rated power at real voltages. Making a big amp is not a sign that a company makes a good amp.as far as power I would have to say MA Audio... a lot of people will laugh at me but they make a ten thousand watt amp.. I have had a few and heard a fe others and ma really pumps out every last watt they claim... crutchfield just started to carry some lower end ma I haven't heard that myself but I have the high end. today someone gave me a coustic 380 ... wow it really slammes my kicker comp cvr 12s
It was Rich Coe, not Steve Mantz.Only good amps that had "Coustic" on them were the Design Reference series that had Steve Mantz's hands in their design.
