mechman alternators. Competitor prices. And has a good reputation.

Both iraggi and excessive amperage have had bad reputations on this forum from previous issues with customers.

Don't go dbelectrical, they don't put out rated power. I had one and got it tested at autozone, only to find one it didn't put out the 260 it claimed.

mean green and ohio are costly, but no experience with them.

best they have for my truck right now is like 165.. ig diff between 165 and 215

Ohio gen and Mechman are both the best IMHO. I am more pleased with Mechman because of their pricing. I've had trouble with Irragi's shipping in the past, so I never did get try one since it never arrived.

havent used or heard anything about ohio gen... you are going to get people that say everybrand under the sun because they run it.. just do the research and buy what you are comfortable with at a price you are comfortable with

Ill probably go with one of the brands that people had nothing bad to say about. Mechman only had 160a alts listed and if im gonna spend the cash on the upgrade it might as well put out 200 or better. Im tempted for Ohio Gen because everyone says good things about them and they are somewhat local to me. DC seems to have a good rep too but Im not a fan of getting dicked around, Id rather have it sooner than later as the beast only has a 70amp in it now and I dont really want to run anything on that. Guess Ill be doin some shopping today. My other bet was to go with irragi cause thats what meade runs.

Iraggi claims 200A at idle for 270 bucks? sounds a little too good to be true.
