best punchy daily use 12"?

ive never run a dmm so i wouldnt even know how to incorperate it or even get one....unless your talking about a multimeter? and im not sure how to do that, i mean i know how to use one, but ive never done it on a car audio system...

well now its down to 2, either the Stereo Integrity Mag 12" D2 or the Sound Splinter RL-p12 also dvc...they are matched pretty close roughly the same spl, they mainly boast the same quality, so its a tough decision for me...im stuck right now, not sure which is more durable...plus the amps i have might be too much, the kicker puts out over 1400 at 1ohm and the hifonics puts out either 1100 or 1300 at at 2ohms..i dont want to blow it up...back to the reading...

Both are great subs... I'm sure there can be an arguement about either, it comes down to personal preference.. I would say rl-p tho.. solid sub, great low end and a great price .. So is the mag , but the rl-p is just my pic.. GL

i said screw it, grabbed a 12" re sx its dual 2 and has an rms of 1000 watts and my hifonics runs 1124 @ 1ohm, my kicker is over 1400 so thats not safe....hifonics should be fine for now...now when i get back home im going to have to build a nice enclosure...

yeah, just a multimeter. Has two stick like things, one is red, one is black. Plug them into your amp, run a test tone. Turn the gain up until you get a desired voltage ( found by a formula, its in my email somewhere ).

Thats what im gonna do tomorrow to see exactly how many watts im runnin my subs

yea i ordered it from a local dealer in orlando, im out of town right now so when i get home, it'll be there...

i didnt realize at first what a dmm was, but then i thought about it after i posted...i was oh yea a multimeter, used to use them all the time, ive heard of them called dmm's but ive always used dm or dcm, but like i said it came to me afterwards...yea ive got a megatron dm (dmm) at home so i'll def. tweak it out...appreciate the suggestions and advise holmes...
