why not get a 15 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You can also check out the OZ Matrix Elite subs.
And when you have problems with your sub after warranty is gone they won't recone it but they sure will try and sell you "B" stock sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif and they won't even sell the soft parts so you can recone it yourself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif I wouldn't buy another OZ product ever. I would stick with what you got.

This what you get from OZ a paperweight or rebuild it yourself.

meh...size i guess...i dont think the box really changes too much tho so that might be an option, i just want something soon, and i want daily quality...are there any major differences other than the additional 50 watts rms? what are the recommended stable ohms for the mags? ive read everything from running them at .5 to 4, i just want it to be loud with sq but still stable and not having a risk of blowing it up....now i need to just find an amp to run one of them properly with the best power and efficincy...the sundown looks like a good amp, but i still want to look around for a bit, i want a long lasting setup, least a few years if possible...thanks alot for the help

You need to contact who makes it to get the soft parts after the warranty is over. That is Image Dynamics.

How long did you have it and how much power? You must have abused that sub. I have ~ 1000 watts going to each of mine with no problems. ~800 watts going to the one in my wife's car.

The mags come w/ a warrenty on everything except burnt voice coil. So as long as you dont send it 5000w you'll be fine.

Mags can handle .5-4 easily. The sundown will be nice, might be a bit overkill, but you've got room to upgrade. You can find a better fit for the mag for less though. I love my sundown, im so happy with it. Great amp no doubt.

So you might as well do you business with ID vs OZ since they can't even offer the service //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif It also wouldn't matter if I abused it or not just stating they can't fix their "own" product. Nothing can replace the lack of service.

2 L7's will sound almost as good and will get louder than a single mag. Save your $ and upgrade another area //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Well yeah, getting l7's would require him getting new everything though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

l7's pound, but they dont sound nearly as good as a mag does

i have to 12L7's in my office at home...they are OK, ive run them at everything, and have them in a HUGE box and a smaller box, they are loud, but they dont have the SQ im looking for and they take up too much space in a small trunk...much better for an suv or truck...or if u take the entire back seat of your concord out they might work there too haha

He already has L7's and a matching amp. Why waste the $

Go sealed and save space and SQ will should get better also.

Oh hossy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
people are lazy lol

I think we should just recommend like Jensens to everyone who doesnt use the search button.

That'll show em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
hell yea just send them to target or somethin n tell them to pick up two jensens lmao thats where i saw em yesterday

well now its down to 2, either the Stereo Integrity Mag 12" D2 or the Sound Splinter RL-p12 also dvc...they are matched pretty close roughly the same spl, they mainly boast the same quality, so its a tough decision for me...im stuck right now, not sure which is more durable...plus the amps i have might be too much, the kicker puts out over 1400 at 1ohm and the hifonics puts out either 1100 or 1300 at at 2ohms..i dont want to blow it up...back to the reading...

A 12 mag's rms is 900, it'll easily take more

Just because your amp is rated at 1400w @ 1 ohm, doesnt mean you need to push it to its limits. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's good to have headroom, you can use a DMM and send the sub a specific amount of W's
