Best prepaid cell phone?

I am trying to find a prepaid cell phone thats cheap when it comes to messaging and calls. So far I have found Alltel to be the cheapest since you call only cost 15 cents a minute including internatioal calls. But I dont know what they charge for text messaging, any one know? Any one else recomend something better?

**** i can say alot on this thread haha. i've had like every prepaid virgin mobile they work but don't last forever t mobiles rates **** boost mobile are the best cause u can get a boost mobile chip and put it in any nextel at all.

in my area not too many work but the best prepaid is simple freedom. also tracfone works well in my area. i live in the middle of nowhere so i don't have many options with cellphones

simple freedom is an alltel company, but simple freedom and alltel have seperate plans. in my area simple freedom has better coverage. it basically uses alltel's coverage area, but for some reason alltel doesn't service my area with their prepaids

yes. my walmart carries that and a nokia or motorolla but it's not a flipphone. my walmart is also like $20 cheaper too for the phone

simple freedom has the best coverage in my area. probably the only cellphone company i'd go with is alltel. it's hard to get service in my area and only alltel is able to get service in my area.
